The guest speaker for the Law Society Gala 2019 was Oliver Callan.
Oliver Callan is Ireland’s top impressionist and satirist. His primetime radio show Callan’s Kicks is essential listening on RTÉ Radio One and has also run on TV for a series and two specials on RTÉ One. It’s one of the country’s biggest podcasts.
He also appears regularly on The Late Late Show and The Marian Finucane Show as a performer and panellist. A former journalist, he is a popular columnist and commentator on many issues in The Irish Sun and The Irish Times. His live tours have sold out shows in Dublin’s famed Olympia Theatre and the 2,500-seater Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. He is also one of Ireland's most sought after speakers at events at home and abroad.
